Jordi Casamada, CEO at Accent Systems, was one of the speakers at the Mobile IOT Summit 2018, where he launched the NB-IOT Tracking solution developed by the company.
This event assembles the principal actors of the technological and IOT sector, around MWC.
This is the 6th edition and focuses on analyzing the potential of NB-IOT technology.
Accent Systems’ Growth and Recognition
The IOT company Accent Systems is experiencing one of its sweetest moments. After 10 years of experience, its international recognition is starting to consolidate. At this edition of Mobile World Congress, the 4th in which the company is participating, its CEO Jordi Casamada has been selected as one of the speakers at the Mobile IOT Summit.
About the Mobile IOT Summit
It is a summit organized by GSMA within the framework of MWC, where top-level international companies from operators to industry representatives participate. This summit analyzes the situation of the IOT market and especially Narrowband IOT (NB-IOT) technology, which is being deployed worldwide and will shake up the sector.
Accent Systems’ NB-IOT Tracker
Accent Systems has been selected to present its NB-IOT Tracker, the first IOT solution in the market that monitors and tracks assets with this technology. “For us, being part of Mobile IOT Summit 2018 is a huge opportunity because it’s a loudspeaker to make ourselves known worldwide and network with the principal actors of the industry”, says Casamada.
This sixth edition of Mobile IOT Summit is the launching pad for its innovative solution, but not only: “We hope to collect many contacts from our participation in the event, especially with the telecoms leading the NB-IOT deployment”. Casamada also explains that one of the keys to establishing the technology is building strong synergies between telecoms and hardware developers. The operators have the connectivity, and the developers have the products that will run through the network.
Casamada shares the stage with companies like Huawei, Telefónica, Vodafone, and AT&T.
