These are two of the projects we have developed with Abengoa:
Thermometer ThermoHook
This thermometer is a tool that measures the temperature inside and outside the tubes of solar towers (STE).
This allows for exhaustive and individualized control of the efficiency of each module or collector, and to detect possible defects.
Mini Incus
It is a spectrophotometer that evaluates the optical properties of the receiver tubes of solar towers (STE). It measures the transmittance of the glass tubes, among other magnitudes.
This equipment allows optimizing the cleaning strategy and validating the efficiency of the tubes individually, having great control of the solar plant.
Reflectometer Condor
The Condor is a portable reflectometer designed to measure the reflectivity of solar field mirrors in just ten seconds with a high level of reliability and precision. It evaluates reflectivity at six different wavelengths across the solar spectrum. It can be applied to both curved and flat reflective surfaces of different thicknesses.
This equipment provides the necessary information to optimize the cleaning strategy, minimizing costs and increasing the performance of the solar field.
