The BDG Hawk is a Smart Badge and Personal Tracker designed for Connected Worker solutions and safety at work in industrial and high-risk environments. Combining BLE-based RTLS (Real-Time Location System) for indoor positioning with NB-IoT / LTE-M (CAT-M1) / GPRS connectivity and GPS for outdoor tracking, this wearable device enables real-time worker visibility, emergency alerts and advanced safety workflows.
Engineered for professional safety deployments, BDG Hawk integrates multiple positioning technologies including UWB (Ultra-Wideband) for sub-metric indoor positioning with TDOA and 2-Way Ranging, achieving 10 cm precision for distance detection with objects and machinery. Combined with BLE RTLS (~4 m accuracy with BLE anchors) and reliable outdoor location via GNSS, BDG Hawk delivers the most accurate indoor/outdoor positioning solution for industrial environments. Built-in motion sensors enable Man Down alarm scenarios, while the configurable buttons provide an instant Panic Button for emergency situations.
With its IP67 rugged enclosure, compact wearable design and wide operating temperature range, BDG Hawk is ready for harsh industrial environments. The device features end-to-end secure communications, low power consumption and USB-C rechargeable battery, enabling scalable deployments across large workforces. Integrated sensors (motion, pressure, temperature and battery monitoring) support advanced safety at work use cases such as fall detection, height/pressure alerts, proximity warnings and environmental condition monitoring.
