PiggyBank is a project that Accent Systems has developed for Blesh, one of our best clients and partners in Turkey.
It is a product created for Işbank, the largest Turkish bank, to promote loyalty among its younger customers. This bank is developing a new generation of smart products and one of the most outstanding is this virtual piggy bank. It incorporates Bluetooth and children can send money from smartphones.
It also has other interactive possibilities that children love, such as screens, speakers, and different types of buttons.
HOW IT WORKS

HOW IT WORKS
This virtual piggy bank incorporates Bluetooth and interactive methods such as screens, speakers, and buttons. The device is given to Işbank’s younger customers, with the aim of promoting loyalty among its customers.

HOW WE DID IT
Accent Systems has developed the most important parts of the project: hardware engineering, firmware design, and mechanics. At the same time, our company handles the Bluetooth and CE certification process.

TECHNICAL ASPECTS
Connectivity: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
Battery: 250mAh rechargeable lithium battery.
Security: Pseudo-random encrypted password.
Others: 2.4” color screen, speaker, motion sensor.

THE CLIENT
Blesh was born in 2011 in response to the innovative opportunity in mobile technology offered by the launch of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the introduction of Apple’s iBeacon in 2012.
Türkiye İş Bankası or İşbank is the largest bank in Turkey.

STEP BY STEP
1. Proof of Concept
In the first phase of product development, our client requests a proof of concept. They explain their initial idea and give us the following premises: connectivity, screen, and attractive design for children.
Here you can see the result of this first contact:

2. Development of Hardware, Firmware, and Mechanics
Our client, Blesh, was satisfied with all the technical features we proposed, especially the Bluetooth and the screen. However, the product design was not exactly what they were looking for, so they decided to keep the initial design of the PiggyBank.
Once everything was approved by our client, we began to develop the hardware, firmware, and mechanics.

3. Product Industrialization
The three technical aspects of the solution were validated, so the hardware, firmware, and mechanics reached the optimal stage of development.
Next stage: product industrialization, from the first injections to the final result.
